Who didn’t want an office in the Marquette Building? These tenants jumped at the chance to occupy a space in Chicago’s newest and most unique skyscraper.

Given that one of the world’s busiest train stations was at Dearborn and Polk Streets, the Marquette Building was an excellent location for ticket offices.

N.W. Harris Bank & Company
Most people refer to the animal reliefs on the entry push plates as panthers, although for panthers, they seem to have impressive manes. A former Aldis & Company employee said that in order to woo Harris Bank as a tenant, Owen Aldis promised to place their logo—a lion’s head—on the entrance doors.
